Connection Troubleshooting
If RigCheck cannot detect your running telemetry client, it is usually because the app is not running, or your browser is blocking local HTTP requests due to security restrictions (Mixed Content).
Google Chrome Settings
Click the Tune/Settings icon on the left side of the address bar.
Select Site settings from the dropdown menu.
Scroll down the permissions list to find Insecure content.
Change the setting from "Block (default)" to Allow.
Return to this tab and click the Reload/Refresh page banner.
Microsoft Edge Settings
Click the Lock/Shield icon next to the website address.
Click on Permissions for this site.
Find Insecure content in the settings tab that opens.
Switch the drop-down menu selection to Allow.
Refresh this browser page to re-poll local scanner port.
Mozilla Firefox Settings
Click the Shield/Lock icon on the left of the URL bar.
Turn off the toggle for Enhanced Tracking Protection.
If mixed-content blocks persist, type about:config in a new tab, search for security.mixed_content.block_active_content and set it temporarily to false.
Apple Safari Settings
Safari blocks insecure local endpoints strictly on HTTPS.
Go to Safari > Settings > Advanced.
Check the box to show the Develop menu in the menu bar.
Under the Develop menu, verify that Disable Local Network Restrictions is selected.
Command Line execution
To ensure the local server is listening, open a PowerShell console (Run as Administrator) and run this execution command:
